A New Build Detached House for retirement and easy living.
Built within a steep Hill, the beautiful, modern Design lends itself to enjoying the wonderful views and offering a light, airy and relaxed living space. Using SIPs with Green Oak Trusses and Purlins, afforded the large aspect glazing our client required.
We very much enjoyed working with this couple on their self build, dream home, assisting with the many areas outside our SIPs structure to help them achieve this end result.
Facing the challenge of building our dream home was especially daunting for us being new to the world of self-building.
We wanted a low maintenance, energy efficient eco house, designed to our own specification.
After much deliberation, we chose Thomas Carter, a Kingspan delivery partner, SIPs being our preferred route to construction.
Thomas Carter were very easy to work with and totally understood our requirements from the outset. They supported us through the construction process providing advice and guidance on all manor of issues, which was often lacking when dealing with the other professionals and trades employed on our project.

We really love living here, the house is so light and airy, and has the relaxed easy living vibe we were after
